John brings over two decades of federal cybersecurity leadership to the clients and communities DTG serves — from SOC operations at the Department of Energy and U.S. Census Bureau to incident response at Navy Federal Credit Union and the IRS.
He founded DTG on a simple belief: enterprise-grade security expertise and genuine human tech support should be accessible to everyone, not just the Fortune 500.

A CISSP-certified security professional with over a decade of federal experience, Quam specializes in governance, risk, and compliance — leading ISSO teams, guiding systems through the NIST Risk Management Framework, and building the security programs that keep organizations audit-ready.
